What is breathwork?

The breath is the most accurate and instantaneous mirror for how we feel, think and live.  By consciously connecting with the breath through a safe and gentle process, we are updating these feelings, thoughts and physical sensations to live with more happiness, ease and pleasure in life.   Think of it as a re-boot to your body, mind and spirit when the “system” is sluggish or not functioning optimally.

The benefits of breathwork can include:  more clarity, reduced anxiety and depression, increased stress-resilience, increased energy, feelings of more ease and flow in life, decreased physical pain, heightened insight, awakened presence, expanded sense of connection with self and others.

What is sound healing?

other-offeringsEverything in the universe is in a constant state of vibration, including every bone, tissue, organ and cell in our body. When we are in a state of sound health, all of our body parts are vibrating harmoniously at their optimal or resonant frequency.  When our vibration is not in sync with our optimal frequency we can feel out of sorts, imbalanced and depleted.  Shamanic sound healing can help bring your vibration back into resonance, thus allowing you to enjoy a state of relaxation, reduced anxiety and tension, and a boost to the immune system

Do I have a choice of accommodations?

Yes. There are several types of accommodations at Elohee Retreat Center.  Click here to view photos of the rooms at Elohee Retreat Center.  Costs listed below are per person for each night and include accommodations and all meals daily beginning with lunch on Friday and ending with lunch on Sunday.  If you are arriving early on Thursday night, dinner on Thursday is included as well as breakfast on Friday.

$150 Single room with shared bath (shared with only one other person, a friend you are coming with or someone we match you with)

$135 Double room (two twins), per person with private bath SOLD OUT
$130 Double room (king bed), per person with private bath SOLD OUT
$220 Single room with private bath SOLD OUT

What if I would like shared accommodations but am coming on my own?

If you request double occupancy and you are not traveling with a roommate, we will pair you with a same-gendered roommate, when possible. Please register early as this increases the likelihood of being able to be paired.  You are also welcome to bring a friend or family member as a non-participant for a companion rate. Please email us for this reduced companion pricing.   Note:  Elohee Retreat Center’s policy is that if no roommate is available that you will receive a single room and pay the single accommodations price.

Are meals available during the training?

Yes. Elohee’s private chef will be providing healthy meals during the training.   If you have any food restrictions, sensitivities, allergies or dietary needs, please let us know in advance.  All meals are included during the training when you stay on-site and there is an option to include lunch during the registration process if you are commuting.  You may also purchase individual meals – $12 for breakfast, $22 for lunch and $26 for dinner.  24 hour tea service and snacks are included.

Will there be time in the schedule for rest, hiking or massage therapy services?

Yes.  There are built in breaks during the retreat.  For those of you who would like to extend your retreat experience, you may wish to come in a day early.

Can I arrive a day early to extend the retreat?

Yes. You have the option during the registration process to add Thursday night to this training and retreat (highly recommended since training begins at 10am on Friday).  When you add an extra night, dinner on Thursday and breakfast on Friday is included.
