This three day training is being held at Akasha Retreat Center just north of Crozet and northwest of Charlottesville, VA in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains. Experience a CE training and retreat amidst nature that will nourish your body, mind and soul. Camping is available for $30/night. Healthy meals, prepared by a professional local on-site chef, will be available during the training.

Can I stay on-site at the retreat center if I don’t want to commute for the training?
We highly recommend taking advantage of this retreat location and staying onsite, particularly if you live more than 30 minutes from Akasha Retreat Center. On-site accommodations are available at $55/night for a shared room (two twin beds) and camping is available at $30/night. You have the option to check in as early as 4pm on Wednesday and check out Sunday morning. Only camping available – all retreat center accommodation spots are now full.
Are meals available during the training?
Yes. Chef Charlotte Galley will be joining us to provide healthy, thoughtfully sourced and nourishing meals during the training. You may purchase a full meal package of delicious vegetarian meals including vegan and gluten-free options beginning with breakfast on Thursday to lunch on Saturday (8 meals) for $115. If you are staying off-site, you may purchase individual meals – $10 breakfast, $15 lunch, $20 dinner. If you have any allergies or serious dietary restrictions please let us know in advance.
Can I share a room with someone I know?
Yes, when booking your accommodations please let us know that you are sharing with a friend.
Will there be free time in the schedule?
The training runs from 9am-6pm each day. Mornings and evenings will be available for personal time. Hiking trails are close by as well as hammocks and chairs overlooking the rolling mountains. For those of you who would like to extend your retreat experience, you may wish to come in a day early and/or stay a day after the training.
What should I bring?
You will receive a welcome email after registering with a list of what to bring. This email arrives within 24-48 hours of your registration. If you didn’t receive it, please check your spam box and add the email firstname.lastname@example.org to your contacts. We’ll need one massage table and foot basin for every two people plus sheets, pillows and a blanket.
I am not a massage therapist, can I take this Integrative Reflexology training?
Yes, this training is open to anyone who has an interest in this healing modality. If you have no anatomy or physiology education, we recommend that you review the body organ systems and functions. Massage therapists receive 24 NCBTMB CE’s.
