Where is Bali and how do I get there?
Bali is an island in the middle of Indonesia between the Philippines and Australia. You fly into Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS) also known as Denpasar International Airport. Once you register we will provide more details about booking airline travel and suggested arrival time. Note that you cross the International Date Line when traveling to Bali so please allow enough time for travel and jet lag recovery before the retreat begins.
We have historically seen round-trip airfare to Bali (DPS) from the US between $700-$1200 USD. Most airlines open their reservations 11-12 months prior to your departure. Please register for the retreat first prior to booking your flight to ensure space in the retreat. We will let you know when we meet the minimum number of participants to hold the retreat.
What are the accommodations choices and pricing?
There are three types of luxurious accommodations to choose from on the lush tropical property. To view the accommodations options click here. Superior Villa is shown in photo on right. Pricing below is all-inclusive with meals, accommodations and the 8-day retreat. There are a limited quantity of each accommodation type, please register early to ensure your preference.

Can I room with my partner or friend? If I’m traveling alone and would like double accommodations, will you match me with a roommate?
If you are traveling with a friend or partner and would like to share a room with them please let us know when you register. If you are traveling alone and would like double accommodation, we will be happy to match you with someone on a space availability basis. Bagus Jati’s policy is that if you are registered for double accommodations and we are not able to match you with a roommate, you will be charged the single accommodations rate. Please register early to ensure a match!
Can I bring someone who is not attending the retreat?
The non-attendee “companion” rate is for someone who is sharing a room with you but not attending the group retreat sessions. The prices listed below are for non-attendee companions and includes all meals, shared accommodations with you, a one-hour massage, daily Bagus Jati activities and hotel taxes.

Are there any entry restrictions in traveling to Bali?
Bali has reopened to American tourists. There is no longer a PCR entry test requirement to enter into Bali. However, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is currently required to enter Bali. You must upload your vaccination card in order to register. If Bali drops this requirement to enter, we will also drop our COVID-19 vaccination requirement to attend this in-person training.
Are spa services available?
Yes, there is an on-site health and wellness spa with Ayurvedic treatments, massage including detox and cellulite treatments, facials, herbal baths, banana leaf wraps, coffee scrubs and more! Pricing ranges from approximately $35 USD for a one-hour session to $103 USD for three-hour session. As a retreat participant, you will receive a 20% discount off of spa services. There is a natural spring pool, herbal steam, Vichy shower, jacuzzi and outdoor swimming pool.
Will there be time in the schedule for excursions or extra spa services?
Yes, we have deliberately created a spacious schedule that allows ample time to rest or to enjoy other excursions or services in between retreat sessions. There will be a full days, plus many half days where you will have personal time to explore the beauty of Bali, dip in the pool or receive spa treatments. We highly recommend coming in several days early or staying after the retreat to extend your experience of Bali.
You can visit the eco-sanctuary Monkey Forest in Ubud, meditate on the beautiful views at Campuhan Ridge, indulge in Bali’s healing hot springs or take a Balinese cooking class. You will find some of the most beautiful spiritual temples on earth, including the famous Tirta water temple, the Besikah temple and the Uluwatu temple. If you enjoy shopping, Ubud’s market is a bargain shopper’s delight. All tours and wellness services are scheduled once you arrive to Bagus Jati.
What should I bring?
You will receive a detailed welcome email from the facilitators after registering with a downloadable PDF document of recommended items to bring, passport information, air travel recommendations and more.
I am a massage therapist – can I receive continuing education hours for this retreat?
Yes. Breath, Body & Sound is NCBMTB Approved and massage therapists will receive 21 CE hours. You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the retreat electronically to submit to your state licensing board or for recertification with the NCBTMB.
Do you have payment plans available?
Yes. Once you register, we will send you an electronic invoice that gives you the option to set up your own payment plan. A second $500 deposit is due by November 1, 2023. All payments must be complete by February 1, 2024.
I am ready to register, how do I hold my spot?
We are happy to hear that you are joining us! You can hold your place in the retreat with a $500 deposit per person. A second $500 deposit is due by November 1, 2023.
